Curis Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a renowned Aboriginal Health Service in the Northern Territory to find a fantastic Community Midwife/Remote Area Nurse to join their team.
Further Details
  • Contracts commencing in February and March 2026 Available
  • 4-12 week agency contracts available
  • $95 PH Monday to Friday day rate (6.30am to 6.30pm)
  • $105 PH Monday to Saturday afterhours (after 6.30pm Monday to Friday or Saturday)
  • $168 PH Sunday
  • + other penalties apply for overtime, on-call, etc.
  • Minimum 4 weeks and up to 12 weeks available
  • Fully furnished housing provided
  • Return travel within Australia provided
  • $1000 bonus - paid when you complete a minimum of 6 weeks!!!!!!
The Organisation
You’ll be joining an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service committed to providing high-quality health care across East Arnhem. Serving over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents, this organization delivers culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care across three East Arnhem wards, supporting community-led health and wellbeing.

What do you need to be eligible?
  • You must be willing to travel in small charter planes, and the ability to drive a 4WD will be looked upon favorably.
  • Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions (must be dual registered)
  • Valid Remote Emergency Care Course and/or Advanced Life Support certification; accredited immunisation certificate (NT recognized); Remote Pharmacotherapeutic Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Manual driver’s license
  • 3 – 5 years of post-graduate experience with advanced clinical skills in remote settings, including triage, independent work, afterhours emergency calls, and First Response
  • Willingness to travel by small charter planes; 4WD driving skills are advantageous
