Patient Services Officer / Receptionist

Clarity Hearing is seeking a warm, compassionate, and motivated Patient Services Officer / Receptionist to join our South Perth clinic and become the first and most important point of contact for our patients.

About the Role

As our Patient Services Officer / Receptionist, you will play an integral role in delivering a welcoming, organized, and patient‑centred experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close the clinic and manage reception at all times
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients and their families
  • Manage incoming calls, patient enquiries, bookings, invoicing, and billing
  • Provide consistently high standards of patient service and care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with healthcare expectations
  • Maintain electronic patient files
  • Data entry and scanning
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Banking and reconciliation
  • Assist with clinic marketing initiatives
  • Perform minor hearing aid repairs and basic troubleshooting (training provided)
  • Ensure clear documentation and communication to support effective job sharing and continuity of care
About You

Skills & Experience
  • Previous administration or reception experience is preferred
  • Hearing or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn industry‑specific practice management software (training provided)
