Job Details
  • Hourly rate of $81.50 + penalties for overtime, weekends, on call etc.
  • Short term, 4-12 week agency contract
  • Must be available to start within the next 2-4 weeks
  • FREE, fully furnished housing provided!
  • Return travel provided
  • $500 bonus if you complete a 12 week block!!
What Will You Be Doing?

You will be working within a fantastic, committed and supportive team who really value the job that you do. Working in this Northern Territory health facility you will help meet the needs and priorities of local communities to improve health outcomes in Child Health. During the week you will be working in Barkly communities and then the weekends based in Tennant Creek.
The Location

Only a short flight from most Australian cities, not just a must-see destination renowned for its individual identity and rich cultural heritage but is a remarkable community to set up home in. As a small regional centre, these facilities one would find in larger country towns like Katherine or Alice Springs however it does provide for all the basics that most people require, and several tourist attractions within easy reach like the beautiful Lake Mary Ann.

To be eligible for this position, you must have the following:
  • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in Child Health Nursing
  • Current REC
  • Recongised immunisation provider certificate
  • COVID vaccination provider certificates for Pfizer and Paediatric vaccines
  • Current maternity emergency management or midwifery upskill or commitment to completing this within your contract
  • Current BLS
  • Must be ISTAT competent, certified and have access number
  • Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
