As a joinery apprentice with us, youll get to explore architectural joinery, creating unique items and see custom designs. From mastering the tools of the trade, building cabinetry in our factory, to installing bespoke cabinetry on site, youll experience the full spectrum of the joinery trade.

Duties

• Undertake site installation of cabinetry and shopfitting units

• Assembly of cabinetry and other items in our factory 

• Reading and interpreting shop drawings and plans

• Other duties as directed by your supervisors

• Liaison with your co-workers and other tradespersons

About you:

• Friendly disposition

• Good communicator

• Desire to learn and listen to instructions

• Reliable and trustworthy

• An eye for detail to ensure a quality finish is provided to our clients

• Cleanliness in your appearance and hygiene

• Ability to follow work procedures

• On time for nominated starting times

• Self-motivated 

• Ability to work after hours if required

• Licence preferred for this role but not necessary

Traits and skills

We are looking for a person who is a good communicator, reliable, has an eye for detail, a desire to develop other new skills as required and be honest in both dealings with our clients and with colleagues. 

Someone with experience with tools would be ideally placed for this position, but this is not necessarily essential.
