What You Will Be Doing

Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to a major retailer and the people of New South Wales. The Administration Team Leader will manage a team of claims support personnel to achieve processing, quality, return‑to‑work and customer service objectives. As a member of the DXC People Management team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies, and practices.

What Will Keep You Busy

As a Team Leader Administration you will play a crucial role in organisations by overseeing various administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operation. This includes:

  • Facilitating effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating meetings, conferences, and events to support collaboration and information sharing.
  • Implementing and enforcing organisational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and industry standards that may impact administrative practices.
  • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of administrative systems and technologies.
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of data related to administrative functions.
  • Addressing day‑to‑day operational challenges and making decisions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Leading and supervising administrative staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Identifying potential risks to administrative processes and implementing measures to mitigate them.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The Skills You Will Bring
  • Previous experience within the NSW worker’s compensation space (ideally)
  • Experience in case management to effectively facilitate outcomes.
  • Well‑developed problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injuries.
  • Proven conflict resolution skills and an ability to diffuse potential situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tertiary or relevant qualifications in health/social services are desirable.
  • Ability to work with different IT applications.
  • Understanding of challenges for individuals.
