Community Support Worker - Level 2

Community Support Worker | Permanent Part-Time |Port Macquarie, NSW

We're seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in a permanent part-time role, supporting clients across the Port Macquarie region in NSW, covering travel to the southern suburbs as far as Forster and the northern suburbs up to South West Rocks.

? A Day in the Life

• Personal Care - Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, eating, and safe transfers
• Domestic Assistance - Helping with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light gardening
• Social Support - Providing companionship and encouraging engagement through conversation and activities
• Transportation - Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and community access

? What You Bring

• Previous experience in community or aged care support (including domestic duties)
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care (with transcripts)
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Current driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
• Willingness to travel up to 45 - 60 minutes
• Full COVID-19 vaccination highly desirable

? Position Details

• Minimum 20-30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase after probation
• Availability to start shifts from 7:00 AM on weekdays
• Ideally available 3-4 weekdays
• Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
