Trainee Aftermarket Sales / Business Manager
Base Salary + Car Allowance + Bonus / Incentives | OTE $150,000 p.a.
Our client, a multi-franchised automotive group — with dealerships across the Northern Beaches and Hornsby — is recruiting two driven individuals ready to build a serious, long-term career in one of the most lucrative specialisations in automotive retail.
This is a structured two-stage pathway. You'll begin by mastering aftermarket sales — protection products, accessories, and add-ons — developing the consultative skills and dealership knowledge that form the foundation of the Business Manager role. Once you've completed your probationary period and training program (4–6 months, primarily based at Castle Hill), you'll transition into finance and insurance, taking full ownership of the business desk.
If you want to genuinely earn the keys to one of the best-paid roles in a dealership, this is the right way to get there.
About the Role Phase 1 — Aftermarket Sales
Present and close aftermarket products (paint protection, accessories, service packages and more) to customers at the point of sale. Build your process, your confidence, and your results.
Phase 2 — Business Manager
Once you've completed your probationary period, you'll move into finance and insurance — structuring packages, managing documentation, and owning the most profitable stage of the sales journey. From there:
Present and close finance, insurance, and aftermarket packages tailored to each customer's situation
Guide buyers through complex decisions clearly, confidently, and without pressure
Manage finance documentation accurately and in full compliance
Work to clear performance targets backed by an uncapped commission structure
Who We're Looking For
You don't need automotive finance experience — that's what the training is for. What you do need:
A track record in sales, with demonstrable results (any industry considered)
Natural confidence with numbers and financial concepts
The ability to communicate clearly, listen well, and close without pressure
High attention to detail — you treat paperwork as seriously as people
A current, valid driver's licence and permanent Australian residency (both non-negotiable)
The Package
Competitive base salary
Car allowance + company vehicle access
Uncapped commission — your performance directly equals your income
Superannuation
Training & development throughout your pathway
One full weekend off per month; two consecutive weekdays off each week
Ready to Make the Move?
Attach your CV and apply now.
