About the role

Mercy Community Services are on the lookout for an Administration Assistant to join our Community Aged Care Team in Rockhampton on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

The Administrative Assistant provide a full range of administrative, reception and customer service duties in support of service delivery to residents, managers, staff and visitors.

Your role involves but not limited to:

  • All residents and visitors to Aged Care Services are greeted in a welcoming, professional, and timely manner
  • All deliveries are received and accounted for in accordance with receiving procedures or redirected as required
  • Respond to resident enquiries
  • Be responsible for the data management and administration of relevant IT systems

About you

  • Relevant qualification in business administration or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to competently use a range of computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver's License
