Role: Experienced Chef needed to join our busy kitchen on a full-time basis Salary: $73,500 - $80,000 + Superannuation Duties and Responsibilities of a Chef: Planning and preparing extensive menus along with consolidation with the Head Chef Prioritize dietary requirement in menu planning Estimate food requirements, proportioning of food and proper presentation as per the guidelines Monitor the quality and quantity of the food prepared Gathering and monitoring kitchen stocks and quality maintenance of perishable items Converse with managers, supervisors, dietary specialists, and other kitchen staffs about the operational and food preparation problems Delegate tasks to other staff in the kitchen Assist in hiring along with training other cooks and staff Manage the inventory of stock and place order when necessary in order to maintain the supply of stock Ensure obedience to the applicable health and safety regulations within the kitchen Annual Leave: 4 weeks Working Hours: 38 hours / per week Work experience: At least 2-3 years of experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment will be preferred. Education/Skills: Relevant Qualification (Cert 4 or Higher) or 2-3 years full time experience Summary of role requirements: Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Work visa can be provided for this role Expected salary: $73500 - $80,000 per year+ Superannuation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $73,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
