Position

Title: Painter and Decorator

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 (Depends on experience) + Superannuation

Location: Woolloongabba (projects across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast)

Experienced painter with a proven track record in both residential and commercial projects, ready to work across multiple locations.

• Preparing the area to be painted by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and drop sheets
• Preparing surfaces for painting (sanding, filling, gapping, taping)
• Selecting the correct paints for the specific area and accurately mixing and tinting paints, stains, and other materials to achieve the required colour and consistency
• Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns
• Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good condition
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or similar
• At least 12 months of employment experience in a similar role
