\nAs part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business to achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
\nHatch is seeking a strategic and dynamic Client Engagement Director to join the Global Client Action Team (CAT), supporting growth across the Australia-Asia region. Our team brings expertise across client engagement, business development, marketing, pursuit management, engineering, and project delivery. This role focuses on driving strategic account growth, strengthening senior client relationships, and improving integration across Hatch. At Hatch, we challenge our clients with innovative ideas that elevate their performance, and we empower our people to take initiative and lead beyond traditional role boundaries.
\nBased in Brisbane, you will work closely with business leaders and client‑facing teams across the region to shape differentiated, client‑centric value propositions and improve win outcomes. Drawing on your experience in securing and growing client opportunities, you will act as a coach and strategic partner, supporting teams to strengthen client engagement and position Hatch for long‑term success.
\nYou will operate within the Client Engagement stream, collaborating with Proposal and Pursuit Governance teams, and leveraging established methods, tools and resources to deliver consistent, high‑impact outcomes.
\nAs the successful candidate, you will:
\nYou bring to the role: You bring significant experience in Engineering Account Management or Business Management, with recent and relevant experience relating to winning work in a professional services environment. You are motivated by achieving successful outcomes and enabling teams to secure and grow client partnerships. You have hands‑on experience leading major pursuits (typically $10M+), with a proven ability to guide strategy and contribute to success. A bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering is preferred, but you may also have a business qualification combined with relevant industry experience. You will bring experience within one of Hatch’s core sectors Metals, Energy or Infrastructure, ideally from Energy and/or Infrastructure. Success in the role will be shaped by your strong commercial acumen, along with high emotional intelligence, reliability, and curiosity. Skilled at building trusted relationships, both internally and externally, you are effective in influencing both peers and business leaders. Experience working directly with relevant client contacts will also be an advantage.
