Overview

Underground Diesel Mechanic – FIFO | $85-$90 per hour + Super | Flexible Roster

Join a leading underground mining contractor with a strong footprint across WA. We’re seeking an experienced Underground Diesel Mechanic for a long-running gold operation in the northern Goldfields region. This role offers excellent site amenities, flexible rosters, and a pathway to permanent employment.

• Perform servicing, fault finding, breakdowns and general maintenance on underground mobile equipment to keep production on track.
• Work across a fleet of underground equipment; experience with Sandvik, CAT or Epiroc gear is highly regarded.

• $85-$90 per hour + super on all hours
• FIFO from Perth – 1 hour flight
• Flexible roster options

As an Underground Diesel Fitter, you’ll be working across a fleet of underground mobile equipment—conducting servicing, fault finding, breakdowns, and general maintenance to keep production on track. Experience on Sandvik, CAT or Epiroc gear will be highly regarded.

• 24 / 7 gym access (post-induction)
• Bush walking trail
• Recreation room – library, Smart TV, theatre room, recliners, pool table, PS5 (controllers via admin), WiFi
• Wet mess
• Dry mess: Breakfast daily 04:00-08:00 | Dinner 16:00-20:00
• Comfortable camp rooms - permanent, back-to-back, or motelling depending on roster
• Check-in / out times aligned with shift patterns
• 4 min drive from camp to site

• Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification
• Previous underground mining experience
• Competence with underground mobile plant (Sandvik, CAT, Epiroc, etc.)
• Valid C-Class Manual Driver’s Licence
• Solid commitment to safety and teamwork
