The Role

\n

We're looking for a Workplace Safety Manager to lead and evolve workplace health and safety across AP+ in a permanent part time capacity (two days per week or 15.2 hours spread across the week).
\n This is a highly visible role that partners with leaders across the business to embed a proactive safety culture, enhance risk management practices, and ensure our workplace experience reflects the standards of a modern, high-performing organisation.

As our subject matter expert in workplace health and safety, you'll provide strategic guidance, influence decision-making, and help shape policies, frameworks and initiatives that support our people and business objectives.

\n

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to a workplace that prioritises wellbeing, accountability and operational excellence.

Best of all? This is a flexible role requiring on-site presence in our Sydney CBD office two days per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact while maintaining work-life balance.

This Role Is Responsible For

As AP+'s workplace health and safety subject matter expert, you'll:

    Lead and continuously improve our workplace health and safety framework.

    Provide trusted advice to leaders on WHS governance, compliance and risk management.

  • \n
  • \n

    Drive risk assessments, audits, emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.

  • \n
  • \n

    Partner with leaders to proactively identify and manage workplace risks.

  • \n
  • \n

    Oversee contractor and supplier WHS governance to ensure consistent standards.

  • \n
  • \n

    Support workplace wellbeing and employee experience initiatives.

  • \n
  • \n

    Monitor legislative and industry changes, ensuring our practices remain contemporary and compliant.

  • \n

    Use data and reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

  • \n

    Build strong relationships across the business to influence positive safety outcomes.

    Robust proven experience working in a Workplace Safety role within a professional services environment.
