ProductionTIG Welder

Our very busy client currently requires a day shift Production TIG Welder, to carry out hand welding of production parts in accordance with plans and production schedules.

This is a full-time position between 6.00am – 2.30pm.

Immediate start available for the right candidate.

The Production TIG Welder will:

• assemble and clamp metal components into weld jigs
• cut, grind, drill and dress metal components in preparation for welding
• adjust weld settings to suit welded components
• TIG weld production components together
• inspect welded assemblies for weld quality and correct assembly and keep a record of daily operations
• maintain cleanliness of the general working area
• work as part of a team as required.

To succeed in this role you must be:

• a competent production TIG welder,
• able to use hand metal working tools,
• able to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically,
• physically fit,
• a self starter,
• able to read engineering drawings,
• able to work with limited supervision,
• aware of safe work practices,
• focused on attention to detail,
• able to TIG weld
