About the Role

In this role we’re looking for someone to develop a deep understanding of our existing customers within Uber for Business. Your expertise in SQL will be crucial for extracting, manipulating, and analysing large datasets to uncover trends and opportunities that will enhance our marketing strategies across EMEA and APAC.
\n
This is not just another data role. And by that, we mean you’ll be leveraging your data ‘smarts’, you'll help us make informed decisions that directly impact our bottom line, enabling us to achieve our business objectives and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

What you’ll do

Delve into audiences, analysing to identify trends, patterns and product adoption.
\n - \n
Demonstrate strong business acumen with the ability to understand and drive strategic objectives.
\n - \n
Proven ability to approach problems logically and creatively, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
\n - \n
Work closely with cross-functional teams across different timezones to support in the planning of existing customer campaigns delivering data requests to the marketing team. i.e audience building.

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and experiments, presenting to the marketing team and other stakeholders.
\n - \n
Assess key performance metrics and provide insights on customer behaviour and engagement.

Basic Qualifications
\n
\n - \n
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a data analyst or marketing operations role.
\n - \n
Advanced skills in data querying using SQL.
\n - \n
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
\n - \n
Hypothesis-driven problem solving, using SQL to facilitate numerical thinking, forecasting goal metrics, A/B test interpretation and storytelling with data.
\n - \n
Previous experience defining user cohorts, segmenting audiences and working with large customer databases.
\n - \n
Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Tableau.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n - \n
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
\n
\n
\n - \n
Fluent in English, with other languages an advantage.
\n - \n
Pan APAC / EMEA / LatAm experience is a plus.
\n - \n
Industry (tech, marketplace, travel or delivery) experience is a plus.
