The Land Development Corporation (LDC) is the Northern Territory Government's strategic land developer, established under the Land Development Corporation Act 2003. With a mandate to deliver industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, the LDC plays a pivotal role in enabling investment, supporting industry growth, and providing the land supply needed to sustain the Territory's economic and social advancement.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the principal executive responsible for leading the organisation to achieve its vision of unlocking the potential of land to drive economic growth. Accountable to the LDC Board and the Minister, the CEO will provide strategic leadership, governance and commercial rigour, while ensuring land development projects are delivered in line with government priorities, industry demand, and community expectations.

A highly capable and visionary leader, you will bring demonstrated expertise in complex organisational leadership, large-scale land or infrastructure development, and commercial project delivery. You will have a proven ability to balance financial performance with public interest outcomes, navigate planning and regulatory frameworks, and secure investment in a competitive environment. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential, including the ability to build partnerships with industry, investors, Aboriginal stakeholders, and community leaders to achieve sustainable, inclusive outcomes.

Your track record of success will reflect strategic acumen, sound judgement, and resilience in politically sensitive or high-profile contexts. You will be known for fostering innovative, accountable, and high-performing teams, and for driving change and continuous improvement.
