We're currently seeking a strategic Centre Manager to join the Town Centres team to lead success at Stockland Forster. Our vibrant centre is a community hotspot for essential shopping, food and fashion.

This is a unique 2 year contract opportunity based in Forster, mid-north coast NSW. This is an opportunity to elevate your career by managing a high-performing asset that serves as a vibrant hub for tenants, customers, and the community.

Your Role

As Centre Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team and oversee the seamless delivery of day-to-day operations. You'll collaborate closely with internal functions including Leasing, SConnect, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio and Project Management to ensure alignment and a cohesive, customer focused experience.

You will also navigate complex stakeholder relationships, balancing the needs of retailers, customers, internal teams, senior leaders, and external partners- including local councils and community organisations. Building and nurturing local community relationships will be key in driving engagement, placemaking, and long-term asset growth. Key responsibilities include:

Asset Performance
  • Drive and deliver strategic priorities that enhance asset performance, customer experience and long-term value.
  • Manage financial operating budgets, business plans, forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Maximise net profit through strategic revenue growth and disciplined cost management.
  • Maintain strong debtor control and uphold financial discipline across all operations.
Operational Management
  • Track sales and traffic data, monitor tenant performance and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Oversee centre operations including contractor performance, capital works, compliance, and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication lines with retailers, contractors, customers, local councils, and community groups.
  • Build an environment that fosters retailer success and strong onsite relationships.
Innovation & Business Development
  • Lead initiatives that drive organisational improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Conduct post project reviews and identify opportunities to enhance processes and performance.
Culture & People
  • Build, lead, inspire and develop a high-performing, collaborative centre team that delivers with clarity, confidence and accountability while fostering a positive inclusive culture.
  • Support team members with capability development, knowledge sharing and clear objectives.
About You

You'll bring centre management experience, backed by a strong track record of leading high performing teams and delivering commercial results. You're skilled in balancing commercial drivers with stakeholder needs and can confidently navigate complex relationships across multiple functions and external partners.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, property or a related field.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
