At Zimmermann, we are looking for a talented Textile Designer to collaborate closely with our Creative Director and Senior Design team on seasonal artwork development across Ready-to-Wear and Swim & Resort collections.

This is a dynamic role where creativity meets technical precision—researching ideas, crafting unique prints, and bringing concepts to life through innovative textile and print designs.

• Tertiary qualifications in Textile design
• Previous experience as a textile designer
• The ability to demonstrate outstanding creative instincts and a distinct point of view through colour, texture and patterns
• Have strong design and communicative skills
• Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills
• Immaculate attention to detail
• Knowledge of current design trends, industry developments and new textile processes

• Collaborate with Creative Director and design team on seasonal concepts
• Extensively research creative ideas and provide input on the key textile design elements of each season in line with the Creative Director’s vision
• Creating original purpose-built artworks for Zimmermann seasonal collections under direction from Creative Director that are unique and not derivative
• Ensure all artworks are created in line with the company standards regarding originality and intellectual property rules
• Technical preparation of artwork including creating artwork repeats and colour separations
• Complete placement print designs, engineering to pattern markers
• Grade and nest placement artworks
• Adhere to seasonal deadlines
• Ensure design room is organized, including fabric references, design board and general design room workspace
