Position Information

Mount Annan Public School is located between Camden and Campbelltown, within walking distance to the Australian Botanic Gardens in Mount Annan. The school has an enrolment of 682 students and is comprised of 26 mainstream classes and four support classes. 7.6% of students are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and 25% of students are from a non-English speaking background.
Our staff is committed to continuous improvement and the development of a collaborative school culture. Students are educated in a safe, supportive environment by dedicated staff who hold high expectations for teaching and learning and demonstrate this through commitment to their own professional development. Strong relationships with parents and carers have been built and fostered through regular and positive communication and interaction.

Selection Criteria

Approval to teach infants and primary with the ability to develop, implement and evaluate data and evidence informed, differentiated teaching programs.
Demonstrated capacity to develop positive class learning environments that enhance individual student engagement and well-being with a proven capability to support a diverse range of students.
Highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and a commitment to build positive and authentic relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
Demonstrated willingness to undertake and contribute to whole school extra-curricular programs that identify and support the needs of HPGE students, including but not limited to sport, public speaking and debating.

Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
