About the Role
The role of the LAC Administration Officer is to support the Local Accommodation Committee members by performing administrative tasks consistent with the duties of an A02 Administration Officer.
Tasks include:
- Assist LAO/ LAC to ensure all correct housing documentation and forms are completed by occupying and vacating tenants;
- Assist LAO/ LAC to ensure State Residential Tenancy Agreements are completed for all occupying tenants;
- Assist LAO / LAC in the organisation and conducting of entry condition inspections;
- Ensure routine repairs and maintenance are carried out for all properties including ensuring that entry notice forms are provided to tenants within notice periods as set out by the RTA and inline with DOE maintenance procedures;
- Assist LAO / LAC with the management of power / gas utilities provided in multi housing in accordance with departmental policy;
- Attend LAC meetings and maintain records on all allocation, reallocation and minutes of meetings;
- Provide notification of membership of the LAC and any changes to Housing Services;
- Preparation and distribution of LAC newsletters;
- General administration tasks as per A02 Role Description as required.
