This position is an outstanding career opportunity for Haul Truck Operators, with a background in open-cut mining. This role will provide diverse exposure to the Moolarben Coal operations and our class-leading machines such as the Liebherr T 282C Dump Trucks.

About the company

The National Group is a leading mining-services company in Australia. For 25 years, we have supplied heavy-earthmoving equipment and end-to-end mining services to the world’s largest resource companies. Our machinery is used at flagship Australian mines to produce iron ore, coal, gold, nickel and other commodities.

About the role

  • Maximum term full-time roles
  • Based out of Moolarben mine site
  • Growth opportunities, learn new equipment
  • Work with class-leading machines such as the Liebherr R9800 Excavator and a fleet of Liebherr T 282C Dump Trucks
  • We also have current vacancies for Multi-skilled and Excavator Operators on site

Skills & experience


  • RIIMPO338E or equivalent preferred, minimum SSE signed training transcript
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience
  • Previous experience in open cut coal mine would be beneficial
