As we continue our growth journey in helping all Australians, we now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Leader to join our People and Culture team.

As our newly created – Talent Acquisition Lead role, you will lead and coach the Talent team to ensure exceptional outcomes to all business units. The role is a key leadership role within the People and Culture team and leads a small team and will look at evolving the recruitment function to ensure we attract and retain the best talent. This role plays a pivotal role in collaborating with leaders in all business units to optimise the service function of ensuring attraction, the candidate experience and the customer experience is at the heart of all that we do.

The role is based in Kensington and based 3 days in the office with 2 days from home.

  • Own and execute the store recruitment process for our store leaders within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • You will have previously managed a team and will be happy to roll up your sleeves
  • A passion for problem solving and strong commercial acumen
  • Work collaboratively with the team to problem solve and achieve great recruitment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the business and build and enhance the Employee Value Proposition, reflecting our culture, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent across all business units.
  • Support and collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, operational demands and develop proactive recruitment plans.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to refine and improve recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, feedback, and a streamlined hiring process.
  • Create a strong talent pipeline for our ongoing companys current and future hiring needs

What you can bring to the role:


  • Several years of recruitment experience end to end with the candidate and customer experience at the heart
  • Experience in leading a team and driving consistency and high performance
  • Experience in volume recruitment preferably in retail
  • Be collaborative and a problem solver by nature
  • Commercial approach to decision making
  • Have a proven history of building meaningful relationships with stakeholders and customers.
