Your role

Are you a master of F2B controls? Do you thrive in a busy team environment? Were looking for someone like that to:
  • Provide client service for clients trading cash equities in the Australian market, alongside supporting internal trading desks.
– Be responsible for the daily delivery and escalation of a suite of controls, facilitating support aimed at capturing all risk events within the shortest time possible.
– Ensure T0 trade data integrity (completeness, accuracy and timeliness)
– Facilitate the production of accurate T0 Risk Reports and T+1 reconciliations.
– Communicate with clients/external brokers to ensure trades are captured accurately and resolve trade economics discrepancies.

Your team

UBS Operations provides the infrastructure and capability for the Bank to execute its business, ensuring we deliver a premium service to our clients, improving productivity without comprising our reputation, regulatory requirements, or internal control framework. The Client and Trade Support team sits within the Securities Middle Office and provides support to our Australia Equities trading desks and Corporate Client deal teams.

Your expertise

– Tertiary qualified (preferred)
– Previous trade support/middle office experience in investment banking or with a buy-side firm is preferred.
– A general knowledge of middle and back office operations, including bookings, confirmations, reconciliations, settlements and corporate actions.
– An ability and willingness to take ownership for, and find a resolution to break downs in booking models and IT flows
– An awareness of the regulatory and compliance landscape in Australia, alongside an understanding of the importance of timely escalation.
– A interest in looking at processes with a view to improve them.
– A strong risk mindset and willingness to challenge things that do not make sense.
