Country Head

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for TMF Australia, considering market trends and competitive landscape, working closely with the Market Leader and various senior functional stakeholders.
• Drive business growth and market expansion initiatives aligned with TMF Group objectives, working closely with the Commercial team and other country leaders.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, driving engagement with the local management team and on the ground.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting professional development.
• Identify and optimize opportunities for business growth and development to ensure continued success and expansion of the business.
• Promote and maintain TMF Group values amongst staff, business partners, clients and other stakeholders.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for expanding TMF’s presence in the Australian market, including potential mergers and acquisitions.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, quality and continuous compliance with local regulations and requirements.
• Implement best practices across all services lines and functional tasks in line with TMF Group initiatives.
• Optimize and support operational process improvement and automation initiatives across all service lines, fostering a culture of innovation. Promote high standards of business and professional behavior, ensuring implementation of and adherence to Group policies, including legal and compliance requirements.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring flawless service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services to existing clients in Australia and across TMF Group.
• Build and nurture strong partnerships with key stakeholders and intermediaries, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and strategic business partners.
• Participate and promote TMF in various commercial activities, representing TMF across industry events, conferences and forums to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
• Work closely with the TMF Delivery team to develop and implement client retention strategies.

Financial Management

• Work closely with Group Finance to manage the financial performance of TMF Australia, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Plan, organize and direct the organization’s activities to achieve agreed targets and standards for financial performance.
• Monitor financial performance, identify variance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Primary degree in business, accounting or finance. Masters degree or an equivalent post-graduate qualification is a strong advantage.
• At least 12 years of leadership experience in an international business environment within the financial services or corporate services industry, with a track record of success in senior management roles and change management.
• Strong understanding of Australian regulatory and business environment, including a good understanding of company law and corporate governance in Australia.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business strategies, driving growth and achieving financial targets.
• Strong leadership with a forward-thinking approach to identify and capitalize on market trends and emerging opportunities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed strategic decisions.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change effectively, adapting operations to meet evolving business needs.
