The core capability requirements for this role are: - Manage, lead and coordinate strategic intelligence functions in the delivery of strategic and operational intelligence products. - Develop and drive collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the management of information and delivery of seamless intelligence services and products.- Drive and deliver intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination consistent with Intelligence priorities that pre-position the Service to respond to emerging issues and crime trends. - Provide intelligence services, products and support to the Intelligence capabilitys response to major events, incidents and investigations. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and implement strategies that support the improvement of intelligence capability across the command. - Provide authoritative advice on operational and strategic intelligence. - Represent senior members of the Crime and Intelligence Command at forums to provide authoritative advice on operational and strategic intelligence.

Role Requirements:
Qualification - Possession of relevant academic qualifications and / or experience would be highly regarded.
Other - Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position, they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic, sensitive nature.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo psychometric assessment prior to appointment.
Applicants are advised that interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Applicants may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance to the minimal level of Negative Vetting Level 2 (see additional information)
