CQUniversity Student Residences (Capricornia College) endeavours to provide a safe, secure, and harmonious community for students and guests at both North and South Rockhampton Campuses. The Student Residences catering team, strives to foster an environment that provides students with educational and personal growth while living on-campus. The Residential Life team, which consists of current resident students, after-hours coordinators, and friendly office staff, are dedicated in providing assistance and support throughout students stay to ensure that they are living and learning in a happy and healthy environment.
In this position, you will be working within a kitchen environment in an efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for working within a diligent team, producing quality food products in a timely manner. In this role you will provide quality customer service using excellent time management and communication skills.

Awareness and understanding of hygiene requirements associated with working in a food service environment including knowledge of and the ability to apply occupational health and safety obligations.
Experience providing prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to staff, students, and the community, within the hospitality industry.
Capable of monitoring stock levels and organising replacement stock.
Contributing positively to a team to meet deadlines with an ability to interact with others and work as a member of a team.
