About The Role

As a Global Sports Operator at Sportsbet, you will work as part of a diverse, goal oriented and collaborative team who have a strong focus on operational excellence. Reporting to the Operational Team Lead, you will play a key role managing our Tennis product for our customers.

In order to ace this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail, the ability to remain organised and efficient in a fast-paced trading environment, and always be keen to learn and improve. An interest in sport is encouraged but not essential.

Responsibilities Include:

• Use our sports models to adjust odds in real-time throughout a match
• Observe prices and adjust where necessary, taking into consideration athlete news, customer behaviour, industry prices, etc.
• Leverage our global counterparts in Dublin and Cluj to support the code’s continued growth and expansion.
• In time, you will be able to compile your own odds on tennis and a range of different sporting events using statistics and trends.

The Risk & Trading team in Melbourne adopt a flexible 5 day working week policy based on customer needs to ensure a great work-life balance for our staff. There is a requirement for some weekend work.

What we’ll need from you:

• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking capability and the ability to problem solve
• Ability to stay organised and efficient, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, relational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders globally and locally
• Display resilience and initiative, while acting with a high level of integrity
• Risk & Trading experience desirable (not essential)
