The Position
We are looking for experienced Senior level Mechanical Engineers to participate in all phases of product design, development, and manufacture. This role is primarily focused around the design development of hardened enclosures for electronic equipment.
Required Experience:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
10+ years as a mechanical engineer delivering engineering projects
Creo / Creo Simulate / Creo Simulate Live

Product Design & Development:
Billet
Sheet metal
Plastic
3D printed solutions
Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for components and assemblies
Develop design solutions that optimise for manufacturability, cost, reliability, and performance
Design appropriate enclosures and mounting systems for various installation environments
Cross discipline collaboration with electronic engineers and other contributors to ensure proper integration of components
Plan and execute internal verification testing of mechanical designs
Prepare products for and manage aspects of external compliance testing
Analyse test results and implement design improvements based on findings
Develop test jigs and fixtures to support verification activities
Create and maintain test documentation and reports
Conduct design reviews to identify potential manufacturing challenges
Manage multiple design projects concurrently while meeting project timelines
Create assembly instructions and documentation for production teams
Mentoring of graduate engineers
Desirable:
Systems Engineering Experience
NV1 security clearance or above
