Job Description: Farmers Market Sales Assistant

Location: Local Farmers Market (exact location provided upon application)

Hours: Sundays, 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM

About the Role:

Were looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Sales Assistant at our Farmers Market stall each Sunday. Youll be representing Baker Brens, helping serve our delicious baked goods, engaging with customers, and ensuring the stall runs smoothly from setup to pack down.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and pack down the market stall (lifting required)
• Serve customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service
• Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions confidently
• Restock display and ensure products are presented beautifully
• Share product knowledge and help customers choose the perfect treat
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards

Requirements:

• Must be available every Sunday, 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Experience in retail or hospitality is a bonus, but not essential
• Must be reliable, punctual, and upbeat

Pay: $23.23 - $38.71 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
