Pump technician

The Position We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic fire pump technician/electrician to join their service team. You will be responsible for the servicing requirements of a wide range of pumping systems including fire pump sets and pressure boosters. My client work predominantly in the servicing and maintenance of Fire Systems throughout Sydney.My Client will consider people who dont have experience directly in the Fire Industry but are perhaps looking for a change in career path. Long term Career development is hugely beneficial in this sector.

Qualifications & Experience

• Electrical Licence/Diesel Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter/Marine Engineer qualifications.
• Electrical and pump fault finding experience.
• Experience with fault finding and programming of control panels.
• OHS white card.
• Valid drivers licence
• A practical, hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work within a team and autonomously.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Conduct onsite work including installation, removal & site wiring of pump systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics of submersible, pressure and fire pump control panels
• Building/Fire pump maintenance and repairs.
• Commissioning of pump systems including flow tests.
