We are a well-established construction company based in Townsville, specialising in commercial and civil works projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes, we are looking to expand our team with a skilled and motivated Project Manager.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are met. Youll work across a variety of commercial and civil projects ranging in value up to $30 million.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading overall programme management, including budgets, governance, and project approvals

  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring clear communication at all levels

  • Providing subcontractor advice and value-driven recommendations at key project milestones

  • Conducting site inspections, managing monthly reporting, and presenting updates to stakeholders

  • Ensuring feedback is gathered regularly and actioned accordingly

About You

Were looking for someone with strong leadership and proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects. Youll bring a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a focus on delivering results.

You will have:

  • Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar

  • 5-10 years experience in the construction industry, including at least 3 years in a Project Management role

  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects between $10M-$20M

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Highly Regarded Skills:

  • Experience with Aconex project management platform

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project

  • Knowledge or experience working within the FSC WHS framework
