Project Controls Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Officer to join our team supporting infrastructure engineering projects.

Dalrymple Bay Infrastructure Limited (DBI) is an Australian infrastructure company, with a vision to provide essential infrastructure for a world in transition.

 DBI holds the lease for the Dalrymple Bay Terminal (DBT) which is located within the Port of Hay Point, approximately 38km south of Mackay and 900km north of Brisbane. DBT is the worlds largest export metallurgical coal facility, servicing mines in the Bowen Basin in central Queensland.

Our teams are based in Brisbane, the Mackay region and Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a safety culture that values our people, demonstrates leadership, and recognises compliance with our legal obligations.

  • Maintain and report accurate cost control records across all non-expansionary capital (NECAP) Projects 

  • Develop and maintain capital cost budgets and forecasts for all NECAP projects 

  • Contribute to positive relationships and effective team dynamics within DBI along with key stakeholders

  • Collate and analyse data from project activities to support project estimating and risk analysis, and retain cost records according to compliance policy 

  • Assist in managing multidisciplinary projects using policies, procedures and systems to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives 

  • Work with the project controls team to simplify and streamline the collection of data and transfer to other parts of the business as require
