PNG Country Manager - Brisbane Based

The role is crucial is ensuring business continuity, and your ability to think long term and strategically is absolute.    The Country Manager - PNG is ultimately accountable for end-to-end management and performance of our operations in Papua New Guinea. The Country Manager - PNG holds financial, logistical and human capital accountability for all projects within Papua New Guinea and will promote commercial value, while operating under company policy frameworks for safety and compliance.   About you   As a Country Manager - PNG, you will be required to demonstrate the below experience and skills necessary to be successful in the role:   

• IEPNG Registration is essential 
• Proven Overhead, High voltage, transmission or power projects is essential 
• in depth understanding of PNG employment law 
• Minimum 10 years experience coordinating projects within PNG 
• PNG Residency or open business visa for ease of frequent travel 
• Effectively position the business to ensure continuance across a 3-7-year forecast 
• Design and deliver a Business Strategy Plan that aligns with corporate values, and strategic objectives 
• Execution of mutually beneficial Business Development activity in the pursuit of future works identification in line with Business strategy plans 
• Collaborate with the Business Development and Pre-Contracts shared services functions as required 
• Ongoing management of client and supplier relationships 
• End to end ownership of the P&L for turnover and gross profit target attainment 
• Act under delegation of authority within company defined limits relating to financial control 
• Provision of accurate records for dissemination of company requested reports  
• Effectively managing client relationships for opportunities and risk management. 
• Oversee assessment of Project Risk factors and sufficiently mitigating for project success 
• Ensure project deliverables are executed as outlined by the Scope of Works, Client Contracts and other relevant project guidelines as applicable. 
• Maintain responsibility for contract negotiations, and provision of beneficial recommendations
