About the role
Newly created full time permanent position based in Parkville, VIC, Milton, QLD or North Ryde, NSW with hybrid work environment. Reporting to the Philanthropy Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Building and managing relationships with philanthropic donors to drive lifetime value
- Creating compelling donor communications, proposals, and impact reports that align with Dementia Australias mission and brand
- Maintaining and growing a donor pipeline through prospect research, engagement strategies, and accurate record-keeping
- Managing a portfolio of donors including Trusts, Foundations, and Private Ancillary Funds
- Delivering timely, personalised donor stewardship and recognition activities that enhance engagement and retention
- Identifying and pursuing suitable grant opportunities, contributing to high-quality, strategic applications
- Collaborating with internal teams to promote a culture of philanthropy and identify major gift prospects
- Supporting donor engagement through events and experiences and contributing to continuous improvement within the team.

Salary benefits: We offer all employees the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 each year for living expenses and up to $2,650 each year for meal and entertainment benefits.

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, Public Relations, Communications or a relevant discipline
- 2 -3 years of relevant experience preferably in a Philanthropy role in a not-for-profit
- Demonstrates drive and motivation, self-reflects, and commits to learning and personal growth
- Fosters teamwork by working together and cooperatively
- Continually develops and applies specialist and technical skills and expertise
- Demonstrates sounds knowledge to navigate the use of information and database software.
