The Role

The role involves working with clients to identify, measure, assess and mitigate workplace health risks. Youll be doing meaningful work such as:

• Monitoring hazards like dust, diesel particulate matter, welding fumes, chemicals, noise and vibration

• Developing sampling plans and conducting field task observations

• Conducting respirator and hearing protection fit testing

• Performing site assessments and evaluation of controls

• Entering data into our purpose-built databases, write and review technical reports, and provide recommendations and support to clients

The role is based out of our Perth office and involves working on our clients remote sites throughout Western Australia. You can expect to be working away from home on average 10 days per month (through 2 or more separate stints per month, with time at home in between).

What We Are Looking For

• Able to travel regularly and be flexible with work arrangements.

• Hold a current C class manual drivers licence.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

• Willingness to undergo a Pre-employment Medical.

• Attention to detail and organised.

• Competent computer skills in Microsoft, particularly Excel and Word.

• The ability to work well autonomously and under supervision.

• Resilient nature with a growth mindset.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience

• Able to communicate information to technical and non-technical personnel.

• Reporting writing experience.

• Experience with data analysis.

• Experience working on a mine site.

• BSBWHS419 - Contribute to implementing WHS monitoring processes.

• Mine Air Quality Officer Training/Mine Air Quality Technician experience.

• Qualifications in Occupational Hygiene, Chemistry, OHS, Science, Nursing/Medical and/or Environmental disciplines.
