Marketing Manager

GPS is looking for a full-time Marketing Manager to assist with the continued growth of our boutique financial services and investment company.

This role will be responsible for helping drive the growth of GPSs market presence and client acquisition, and in assisting the company achieve its overall business goals.

A little bit about us:

The GPS Group is a long-established Brisbane based financial services group. 

GPS Development Finance, a private lender, provides finance for the construction and development of residential unit and townhouse projects in South East Queensland.

The funds are sourced from GPS Investment Fund Limited investors, who earn regular monthly income from their investment.

Role responsibilities include:

• Develop and refine marketing plans and calendar

• Evaluate and monitor website, including content management

• Plan, build and execute digital marketing campaigns

• Increase presence on existing platforms

• Tracking and refining SEO and SEM

• Implement new media channels

• Development of new branded collateral and promotional materials

• Plan and coordinate small events

• Campaign tracking and analysis

• Market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors

• Working with Business Development to align marketing strategies with business goals

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role

• Experience in financial services is highly regarded but not essential

• Ability to execute marketing campaigns with a strong attention to detail

• Strong copywriting and proofreading skills

• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with varying audiences

• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc) is highly regarded

• Enjoys working as part of a small and close knit-team
