Seeking an experienced marine specialist to coordinate and consult a major hydrodynamic project

Your new company

A government organisation are seeking an experienced marine specialist to coordinate and consult on a major hydrodynamic project. This role would be offered initially as a 12-month temporary contract, paying a competitive hourly rate and working up-to 3-days a week in the Perth CBD office.

Your new role

Within this role you will be responsible for coordinating and guiding the hydrodynamic modelling project on behalf of the department. You will be responsible for providing input towards the departments Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), as well as providing expertise and support to key stakeholders.

What youll need to succeed

To be considered, you will meet the following requirements:

• EIA hydrodynamic modelling technical lead
• Key stakeholder engagement support on marine matters (Defence, Water Corp, CSMC, Recfishwest, WAFIC, ACWA, etc)
• Regulator (EPA/DWER/Cth) engagement/advice on marine matters, incl. SEP Revision interfaces if requested
• Contractor management, scoping and management of technical studies.
• Water Corp modelling interface engagement / advice.
• Strategic Support / Advice (as requested) to key stakeholders.
