An exciting opportunity has become available for a Managing Principal to join Marsh. In this role within our Risk Management Practice, you will be responsible for the growth, profitability, and client satisfaction of a portfolio containing large and complex accounts. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the trusted advisor, pursuing new business development, and expanding the range of Marsh products and services utilized by clients.

We will count on you to:
- Maintain and grow personal relationships and a book of business, contributing to team sales targets
- Conduct and analyze research to understand client needs and maintain a comprehensive view of the portfolio
- Utilize risk expertise to review clients exposures and develop tailored solutions
- Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop innovative solutions to attract new clients
- Identify expansion opportunities for personal and team accounts, leveraging market trends and internal offerings
- Define strategies for custom solution development, communicating sales targets and pricing expectations
- Attend industry events and client functions to build a strong professional network and represent the company
We would like you to have:
- 7+ years of experience in a commercial insurance environment, with strong expertise in professional and financial lines insurance
- Strong business acumen and a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions and finance
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels, including the C-suite
- Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines
What makes you stand out?
- 10+ years of experience in insurance broking
- A solid understanding of business and organizational risk management
- Prior experience managing a portfolio of complex accounts
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of insurance and strategic client engagement
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Tier 1 FSRA Compliance is essential; a tertiary qualification is highly regarded but not mandatory
