Job description

Position Information:

As part of our tutoring services, we provide quality education to students from Year 1 till Year 12.

Currently, we are looking for mentors for High school Year11 and Year 12 classes for Economics subject(s):

Position requirements:

• Experienced Teacher with minimum 5 years of teaching experience to HSC students in NSW
• Must have completed HSC in NSW in respective subjects (Economics) in HSC with good ATAR (Details of ATAR and Band to be submitted with application)
• Able to teach 1 to 1 or Group lessons
• Can provide face to face lessons at Parramatta campus
• Able to understand students needs and tailor the teaching style and material as per students need
• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the term and holiday courses during school holidays
• Delivering feedback and recommendations to students and parents on their progress

Skills:

• A genuine passion for Teaching
• Previous Teachers from schools with excellent ATAR in respective subjects
• Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to work flexibly and build positive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
• Strong classroom management skills and wellbeing practices with the capacity to cater for a diverse range of students
• Completed their tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
• Have a good knowledge of the current Board of Studies curriculum respective subjects

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Subcontract

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

• Afternoon shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Working with Children Check (Preferred)
