An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially minded and strategically driven Head of Growth to join a market-leading organisation delivering cutting-edge geospatial and infrastructure data solutions. With an expanding footprint across engineering, government, and asset-intensive sectors, this business is trusted by major clients to enable better decision-making through spatial insights and underground intelligence.

This is a high-impact role suited to a senior business development leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, client engagement, and innovation.

About the Role

Based in Melbournes CBD with hybrid working options, you will lead the regional business development function-shaping go-to-market strategies, managing key client accounts, and overseeing major bids and proposals. Youll collaborate closely with internal technical, delivery, and marketing teams to position the companys capabilities and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a regional growth strategy aligned with national business objectives

  • Strengthen relationships with existing Tier 1 clients and develop strategic new accounts

  • Oversee the preparation of high-quality tenders, bids, and commercial proposals

  • Collaborate with operational leaders to align growth initiatives with technical capacity

  • Drive the adoption of geospatial technologies including GIS, 3D GPR, CAD, and digital data platforms

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to regional account managers and bid teams

  • Contribute to marketing, brand positioning, and thought leadership campaigns

  • Champion the use of CRM systems to improve sales pipeline visibility and forecasting

About You
  • Strong background in business development, commercial strategy, or sales leadership

  • Experience in geospatial, infrastructure, engineering, or related data-driven sectors

  • Demonstrated success winning large-scale bids and tenders, especially in government or infrastructure

  • Commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex service agreements

  • Solid understanding of geospatial tools (GIS, CAD, utility detection, reality capture, etc.)

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Commerce, Geospatial Science, Surveying, or related (desirable)

  • Willingness to travel and a current drivers license
