About the Role The Cyber Risk Analyst will play a crucial role within the Cyber Security team, which is led by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the IT Department. As a key contributor to the team, the Cyber Risk Analyst will be responsible for delivering practical, business-aligned security services and providing expert guidance on a range of critical security initiatives. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Cyber Security team. In this role, the Cyber Risk Analyst will be instrumental in strengthening the universitys security posture by managing third-party vendor assessments, conducting solution risk evaluations, and coordinating penetration testing activities for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management frameworks and cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, they must possess excellent coordination and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring the implementation of robust security practices, and supporting the organizations commitment to cyber resilience. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or governance roles
- Hands-on experience with third-party risk assessments and solution security evaluations
- Familiarity with coordinating penetration testing and vulnerability management activities
- Personal resilience and experience in responding to resistance to change

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
