Overview

As a key member of the Finance Strategy team within our Strategy and Consulting practice, you will help our clients achieve measurable financial outcomes by developing innovative, customer-centric strategies. You will apply your financial acumen, consulting expertise, and deep understanding of customer behavior to deliver strategic recommendations that improve profitability, optimize performance, and guide digital transformation.

Youll leverage financial modeling, business case development, customer insights, and market intelligence to identify new growth opportunities, streamline operations, and enhance shareholder value. Your work will shape high-impact, finance-forward strategies that are grounded in data and aligned with clients broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Break down complex financial and strategic challenges using a combination of customer research, financial analysis, and market evaluation to define opportunities and recommend actionable paths forward.

  • Apply finance and customer strategy frameworks to help clients enhance their revenue models, cost structures, customer profitability.

  • Develop robust financial models and business cases to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.

  • Evaluate and present solution options using financial rationale, aligning stakeholders around common goals and trade-offs.

  • Lead the development of strategic proposals and consulting frameworks for finance transformation, digital investment, and operating model redesign.

  • Manage and mentor cross-functional consulting teams to deliver high-impact projects within scope, time, and budget.

  • Partner with C-level clients to define KPIs, financial targets, and operating benchmarks that tie strategy to bottom-line results.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in strategy consulting, finance, or corporate strategy, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm or finance-driven industry role.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, business case development, and performance benchmarking.

  • Strong grounding in customer strategy disciplines, including segmentation, value proposition development, and customer profitability analysis.

  • Ability to assess business capabilities and model the financial impact of organisational, operational, and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience with tools like Excel (advanced financial modeling), PowerPoint (executive-level communication), and data visualisation platforms.

  • Exposure to customer-centric methodologies such as design thinking or service design, with a practical application to financial strategy.

  • Consultative mindset with a commercial orientation and a passion for helping clients unlock both financial and customer value.
