About the RoleISEC Security is seeking an experienced and dedicated Control Room Operator to oversee operations at a prestigious corporate site located in Sydney CBD. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Practices (SWPs), while delivering exceptional service and maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with staff training, including inductions, toolbox talks (TBTs), briefings, memos, and other training activities

  • Access control management: lockup and lockdown, issue access cards, and update access requirements

  • Conduct general surveillance of PD areas and protect PD assets, plant, and equipment

  • Maintain the Control Room Access Register and monitor key and equipment registers

  • Handle complaints and escalate to the Contract Manager when necessary

  • Compile and submit Weekly and Monthly Visitor Data Entry Reports

  • Monitor and enforce acceptable behavior on-site

  • Operate general electronic observation, intrusion detection, and access control equipment

  • Act as the public face of PD, providing excellent customer service, information, and assistance

  • Ensure compliance with WHS policies, SOPs, and current legislation

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as instructed

Key Result Areas (KPIs):

  • Maintain key relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery

  • Comply with security and safety policies and procedures

  • Ensure operational activities run smoothly and efficiently

  • Minimize or treat risks within your area of control and follow WHS processes

  • Complete shift reports (EOS) accurately and report incidents in a timely manner

  • Asset Protection - Compliance with ISEC Operational Procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Control Room experience

  • Strong interpersonal, people management, and relationship skills

  • Exceptional presentation

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Consistently forward-thinking

Required Qualifications:

  • 1AC Security Licence (current)

  • Apply First Aid Certificate (current)

  • Advanced keyboarding and Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to adapt to ISECs internal computer systems

Working Relationships:

  • Client: Contract management and escalation

  • ISEC Contract Manager: Compliance and escalation

  • ISEC Employees: Shift requirements, SOP compliance, and operational changes
