Accounts Receivable Assistant

What Youll Do:
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will support key finance functions and customer interactions. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing new account applications
Sending invoices and statements
Maintaining and updating AR records and files
Investigating and resolving irregularities and customer enquiries
Posting customer payments via EFT, cheque, and credit card
Managing inbound payment-related customer calls
Assisting the sales team with AR queries, reports, and documentation
Performing general administration tasks as needed
General Ad-hoc administration duties
What Were Looking For:
Were seeking someone who is not only reliable and detail-oriented, but also thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ideally, youll have:
1-3 years experience in accounts receivable or a similar admin role
Confidence making high-volume phone calls
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial records management
