About the Role:
Cash Management & Accounts Receivable team within Finance division of Department of Justice and Community Safety, are seeking Accounting Support Officer (VPS3) role for a total of 9 months starting July 2025.
Key functions of this opportunity include:
- Raising AR (debtor) invoices for departmental business units
- Responding to email and phone queries from debtors
- Assisting business units with invoicing queries
- Supporting Taxation team by undertaking quality assurance reviews for GST and FBT compliance
- Prepare and lodge the monthly departmental Business Activity Statements & monthly payroll tax return

About You:
We are looking for a team player with
- Can-do attitude with customer focus, adapting quickly with change of priorities
- Ability to meet process deadlines
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Intermediate Excel skills, experience in Oracle R12 - AR, AP & GL modules with knowledge of debtor invoicing and follow up
