Western Work Force is an Australian owned recruitment company and are a market leader in providing temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions across various industry sectors.

Our client is a global Manufacturing company and due to business growth, they are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operator for their NSW branch. This is an exciting opportunity with a key focus on performing all warehouse duties, assisting with CNC machining duties (training provided), process customer orders and coordinate logistics and despatch.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Picking and packing of orders and performing all warehouse duties.
• Loading and unloading of materials.
• Efficient and safe operation of the forklift truck.
• Maintain clean and well organised warehouse in accordance with practices, systems, and guidelines.
• Perform regular stock counts and stock take as required.
• Communication with internal and external customers and staff.
• Ensure goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and despatch/logistics all arrange and finalised for all completed orders.
• Assist the CNC Operator in setting up and preparation for all allocated jobs.
• Process orders using SAP in a timely efficient manner to a high standard of quality.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and comply to all OH&S policies and procedures.

Key skills, experience and qualifications required:

• Previous experience gained in a warehousing position within the technical/industrial sector.
• Have a sound technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Valid Forklift licence.
• Have a positive “can do” attitude.
• Have excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• An understanding of SAP or similar large ERP systems an advantage.
• Intermediate level computer skills including MS Excel, Word.
• Experience with CNC milling machines is an advantage.
• First Aid certificate is an advantage.
