Underground Truck Operator

MPI are seeking multiple Underground Truck Operators to work with our clients in Western Australia. These roles are offered on a long-term basis with the majority being temp to perm after 3 or 6 months working with owner operators and contractors.

What is on offer:

• Ongoing, temp to perm positions across WA

• Multiple roster: 8/6 7/7, 2/1

• Competitive rates up to $50 hr with super on all hours

• Immediate starts and fast mobilisation.

About the role:

• Conduct thorough pre-start inspections on equipment before operation

• Collaborate with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers

• Interpret and follow mine plans and instructions accurately

• Safely operate underground equipment, ensuring efficiency and productivity

• Demonstrate good judgment, innovation, and adherence to safety protocols while operating trucks.

• Provide assistance to other mining operators as and when required.

How to apply and be successful:

• Must have underground experience with a minimum of 6 months on underground trucks

• Ability to obtain a national police check

• A valid drivers licence and relevant qualifications

• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical

• You must have the right to live and work in Australia.
