On our clients behalf, were seeking an experienced Underground Mine Geologist to join a close-knit, highly skilled geology team at a newly acquired site, with a fresh underground development program now underway. This is your chance to be involved from the very beginning, contributing to drill design and planning, grade control, and geological modelling while working alongside an exceptional, supportive team.

You will be part of a highly experienced geology crew, creating the ideal environment to develop your technical skills and grow your career. This role will suit someone inquisitive, proactive, and eager to make an impact as the operation moves into its underground phase.

The role:

• Undertake underground face mapping, sampling, and grade control

• Log core as required and oversee QA/QC of samples

• Build and maintain 3D geological models using Surpac, Leapfrog, and Micromine

• Collaborate with mining teams to optimise ore recovery and minimise dilution

• Support drill design and planning activities

• Contribute to a strong mentoring and learning culture.

What were looking for:

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geoscience

• Minimum 2 years underground mine geology experience in gold (narrow vein experience preferred)

• Proven skills in grade control, core logging, and geological modelling

• Proficiency in mine geology software (Surpac, Leapfrog, Micromine)

• NPC within the last 3 months or able to obtain

• Current C-class WA drivers licence

• Curious, adaptable, and authentic with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders from operators to engineers

• Proactive problem-solver with a strong communication style.
