Senior Lifting Engineer

Main Duties

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing lifting operations, ensuring project success, and maintaining client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing rigging details and comprehensive lift plans.
• Managing project lifecycles for lifting operations across Southeast Queensland.
• Responding to tender enquiries, providing pricing insights, and reviewing contract terms.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with work hire agreements.
• Engaging with clients to coordinate lifting operations and technical requirements.
• Overseeing contract administration, reviews, and negotiation of departures.

RequirementsThe ideal candidate will bring:

• 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, preferably site-based work involving cranes and structures.
• Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
• Background in crane operations, project engineering, lift planning, and rigging analysis.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and project teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with excellent contract administration and risk management skills.
• A candidate with Responsible Person for Quality (RPQ) certification, ensuring compliance with industry standards and the ability to certify lifts, is preferred.
