Rural Maintenance/Qualified or Unqualified - Poultry Farm

APG are currently recruiting for a Rural Maintenance - Qualified or Unqualified labourer in Purga IPSWICH who is mechanically minded and hands on for our client who is the world leader of the poultry industry.

Day shift Monday to Friday starting 7am - 3:30pm  This position is an immediate start and an opportunity to do perm after 3 months!

The ideal candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Farm/livestock maintenance experience (not essential)
• Welding experience
• Knowledge in workshops - e.g. Conveyors, breakdowns, fixing fans, general maintenance
• Mechanically minded
• Use of hand tools
• Must have own transport
• MR license (preferred but not essential)
• Must have own PPE
• Excellent communication skills
• Working within a small maintenance team
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional adherence to site safety and safe work procedures

Shower on and off to each farm will be required if have to enter the farms, if you are required to drive to another farm the work vehicle will be available.

Must have their own reliable transport as public transport is not available at the site location.
